rootin'-tootin' good times...

I am thrilled to have miss A in front of the camera again! She has been nothing but fun! Last year, it was summer dresses and sun hats. This year, she went all out with the cowgirl theme. With a whoop n' holler, miss A tossed up her hat and had a ball in her red boots!

Thanks for sharing another year with me! Your smile and laughter are incredible!

sugar and spice, frogs and bears...

Meet Miss K and her family. She is getting ready to become a big sister to baby K. We joined up for a sunset session to capture some precious moments of this belly baby and her beautiful family. Favorite image? Nope. But here's 11 to start with.

I feel the need to explain my title of this entry:

Miss K is all girl - bows, skirts, jewelry! Ready for dinner, she fed her sweet tooth with a bag of gummi bears while watching the nickel-sized frogs jump around the park with Gammie.

Thanks for a wonderful evening and I cannot wait to meet baby K in the weeks to come! She is one lucky girl to have such a great family.

oh, to be one!

Miss C has it all - a thousand smiles, giggles galore, sweetness...happy birthday! We met up on a warm summer morning to take a "few" photos. Typically not an over-shooter, I just couldn't get enough of this beautiful girl and her family! And honestly, so many images were "click-worthy." So here is a sampling of the wonderful time we had together.

the icing on the cake...

Well, this lil' guy was absolutely adorable! At 10 days old, he was alert and curious. Mom said that he literally slept the first 10 days of his life and woke up just for me. Mr. J is the big news of the family and his 3 older sisters to cuddle and love on him. What a lucky brother! He is the icing on their cake...thank you for a fabulous afternoon.

a new crop of sweetness...

One baby at a time was plenty for me to handle but these two little ones were pure bliss. Their mom made it look easy! As one of my friends would say "you deserve 'snaps'!"

Miss G and Mr. O were peacefully sleeping when I arrived - I didn't realize that they were in the same room (snuggled in their moses baskets!) Once I met all the "friends" in the house, I set up my little studio and had some fun. Grandma was there to lend a hand and we even enjoyed the hot Texas summer outside. The one benefit of the heat - newbies LOVE it! These two cuddled up together as they have done for 9 months. It was almost like they wanted to breathe the same air.

Thanks for letting me snuggle with these two - can't wait to do it again. Next time, big brother can lend his helping hand. Enjoy every minute!

6 months is "cool" - even in hot Texas!

Miss A is such a sweetie! And a trooper...the heat was intense yesterday morning. She was happy and proud as she tried her sitting ability, showed off her teeth, and stood up with huge smiles. It was so clear that mom and dad are in love with Miss A! What a beautiful family - thank you for the fun morning!
