"We do not remember days. We remember moments." - Cesare Pavese
Photography is a powerful creation. With one photograph, a person can remember that moment with vivid clarity and emotion. I look back through my own childhood photographs with eagerness and I treasure each and every one of them. As a child, I wanted to be many things - chef, architect, waitress, dancer, teacher, therapist. My aspirations changed as time moved forward but two things held steadfast: my love for children and art.
After studying art, psychology and education, I became a teacher. I was able to utilize all that I had learned in school while teaching first and second grade students. I absolutely LOVED teaching - oh, the stories I can share. During those years, I continued to foster my love of photography and soon, life took a twist. When my husband offered me the opportunity to raise our son while immersing myself in photography, I jumped - into Dallas, Texas! Rosselli Photography was created and shortly after, my daughter was born. What a wonderful life!
My parents always told me that I would never understand the depth of their love until I had a child of my own...boy, that was an understatement! The fondness of my own photographs pales in comparison to the images I have captured of my children. This is my inspiration while capturing your child's personality and moments in life. I want to give you an image that evokes emotion - that quirky smile, the sullen frown, the crinkles around his nose as he giggles, her eyes as they light up when you say her nickname, the tears as they well up from laughter or a look of bewilderment as he works to solve a problem. I am sure you have snapshots of your child. Let me create a work of art - one that will last many lifetimes and will be cherished forever.
