growing up in front of my camera...

Capturing moments in peoples' lives is a blessing.

I like to think of my clients as friends - spending even one session with them, allows me to share in their lives. So when my friends become my clients, I look forward to our sessions together. Miss S has transformed from an infant into a beautiful toddler (seems like overnight!) in front of my camera. I absolutely adore this little girl and her mommy is something of the special kind as well. What a beautiful relationship.

Thank you for letting me grow with you!

I can't wait until our next session!

Little bit of sweetness!

I just hate being back logged on blogging but tis' the season! Thanks for all the extra patience.

This sweet family met me on a chilly morning (finally, we can pull out the sweaters!) Miss B and Miss L popped in and out of their jackets as we captured some fun moments. Every so often, I use candy to illicit a smile here and there (okay, okay - my pockets usually have something sweet but every so often I share with the kids!) Anyway, Miss L was competing for my "toughest nut" award and although she came really close, the Skittles worked a little magic.
Truly a wonderful time with a wonderful family! Felt so good to be cold but glad to have captured these warm moments.

a little country...

There's nothing cuter than kids in cowboy boots and hats!
These three kiddos were some of the cutest in all of Dallas. It was really hard choosing just seven images - there were so many others that made my top choices. Mr. G with his mom, the sisters with their daddy and lots of the family. You can tell that this family has it all!

Thanks for spending a wonderful evening with me.

Newest lil' Sooner...

So I grew up in Southern California - where you wear blue and yellow (go Bruins) or cardinal and gold (go Trojans) from the time you are born. Well, most of you know how I "root" these days! Rivalries are fun and this weekend, the Sooner fans met up with the Longhorn fans here in Dallas. The city gets drenched in red/white and burnt orange!

I had the privilege to watch the first part of the game with Miss M - the newest Sooner fan! While we weren't shouting out, we were snuggling and capturing some precious moments. She is just shy of a month old and she was already comfortable in her red and white Sooner outfit (with socks to match!)

Thanks Miss M - I have never enjoyed a OU vs UT game as much as I did yesterday! And I'm sure you celebrated the huge win with your family - a well deserved victory!
