Sweet as sweet can get...

This mother-daughter duo is unbelievable! Lil' S adores her mom and Shannon's world revolves around this precious little girl. Shannon wanted to document some of these milestones of life - Lil' S just turned a year old, some teeth finally arrived and cautious steps have been taken. With the help of grandma, we were able to capture some tremendous snapshots of life. I am so fortunate to be able to watch this little girl grow up - all too fast - and blessed to call her mom my friend

Urban invasion...

When I moved to Dallas, I gave up the beach. Don't get me wrong...I relished in beautiful green parks, ponds, lakes, and blue bonnets but something was missing. For months I have been thinking about taking my camera into the "urban" settings. I asked one of my favorite families to be my guinea pigs and they agreed to give it a try. Although a bit nervous, we had a blast walking the "streets" of Dallas and creating some urban moments for this hip and cool family!

So I was asked to take a formal portrait for this wonderful family! As I arrived, I stepped over the evidence of a terrific birthday party and met four adorable children. This family had gathered together from all over Texas to celebrate multiple birthdays. These images are just a few of many captured moments! Thank you for a great afternoon!
