a November babe...

I am so behind in blogging but I had to take a minute to introduce Miss Eve. Born in the best month of the year (one I like to call my own,) she is welcomed into the world as beautiful colors emerge from the trees and the weather is practicing for winter. This is exactly how I love the world. Colorful and crisp.

Miss Eve is blessed to have Miss Lamira as her loving, big sister.

The world just got a little brighter and more colorful - welcome Eve.

Meet Mila...

Mila is a serious and sweet - bilingual - two year old. We met at a local park and enjoyed some last moments of the fall season together. The leaves were beautiful and Mila was a perfect match. She wore her pretty dress and her eyes sparkled with delight. I enjoyed every minute of the encounter - thank you!

Giants vs. Rangers...

I absolutely love Seattle. Love the people and the warm attitudes amidst usually chilly, wet weather. It was so nice to befriend this family because it was so easy to like them - they ooze Seattle. Warm, friendly, genuine and just plain nice.

The Williams family wanted one last photo shoot in Dallas before they move to San Francisco. They say it has nothing to do with the World Series outcome but I don't know - they are pretty big baseball fans.

The fall leaves were changing and the cooler weather had arrived (where it's gone, I have no idea!) Absolutely beautiful. Big brother T had a blast running around with his buddy (my son) and lil' brother A hammed it up in front of the camera. Oh, to say we'll miss you is such an understatement! We'll always have Disneyland and the beach - I have visions of the next photo shoot already!

Sizzling sisters in the big D...

Dear neglected blog, oh how I've missed you! This time of year is C-razy and I just can't seem to keep up. I owe many people sneak peeks so let's get to it.

My record is 3. Three boys or three girls. I beat it with this beautiful family of four girls. Grace is first, then comes Katherine, Faith is next and finally, Lily. These girls have it all - beauty, brains, personality, humor and manners. I won't even mention their great babysitting skills! We thought it would be fun to head into town to find some red doors and bricks. Along with some sass and sizzle, we captured some sister love and laughter!

Simply wonderful...

I won't lie, blogging during this time of the year is difficult. The list is long and the hours are late but I L-O-V-E working with a few images so you can see them! Miss V and Miss S are two of my very favorites. They have fun. Their smiles and giggles are heartwarming. So when Jane called for a holiday session a couple months ago, I jumped for joy! Dressed in their fancy dresses, we climbed rocks and strolled through a local park. Perfect weather - no sweaters or jackets needed. And once again, the Chien family made my Sunday evening simply wonderful.

Sweet as sweet can get...

This mother-daughter duo is unbelievable! Lil' S adores her mom and Shannon's world revolves around this precious little girl. Shannon wanted to document some of these milestones of life - Lil' S just turned a year old, some teeth finally arrived and cautious steps have been taken. With the help of grandma, we were able to capture some tremendous snapshots of life. I am so fortunate to be able to watch this little girl grow up - all too fast - and blessed to call her mom my friend

Urban invasion...

When I moved to Dallas, I gave up the beach. Don't get me wrong...I relished in beautiful green parks, ponds, lakes, and blue bonnets but something was missing. For months I have been thinking about taking my camera into the "urban" settings. I asked one of my favorite families to be my guinea pigs and they agreed to give it a try. Although a bit nervous, we had a blast walking the "streets" of Dallas and creating some urban moments for this hip and cool family!

Family Fun...

So I was asked to take a formal portrait for this wonderful family! As I arrived, I stepped over the evidence of a terrific birthday party and met four adorable children. This family had gathered together from all over Texas to celebrate multiple birthdays. These images are just a few of many captured moments! Thank you for a great afternoon!

Meet CJ...

Seems like just yesterday that I was looking through the camera at a belly bump - well, here she is! Meet CJ. Much to her mom's dismay, CJ arrived as scheduled (20 days ago as oppsed to early!) Now, if there is ever an up side to Texas heat, it is the comfort factor for these little peanuts. CJ just loved her outdoor session - no need to swaddle or cuddle! Her big sister (an old pro!) and big brother are in love with the new addition to the family. Kisses galore!

Congratulations!
p.s. Can't wait to hold her again!

On the road...

So off I went to eastern Washington to visit my family and meet Kyle. He is starting his senior year and is eagerly approaching the next step in life. He loves hockey and anticipates riding on a scholarship to a fantastic school - perhaps a future Trojan! I can totally see him sporting cardinal and gold...I'm just sayin'

We had fun trekking through the Tri-Cities - trespassing and dodging traffic. We even managed to find the only graffiti in town! Good luck to you Kyle and keep us posted!
